Leticia is currently writing a theatre play, with audiovisual content, called: "Vacua,ae". The artistic dossier is being prepared and the piece is currently on its funding phase. 

The idea of this play comes from the book, “The Noble Dream of Being an Artist” by Gabriela Calderón Arias, published on 8 March 2024, paying tribute to 50 women artists who were ignored by Art. In an effort to make them visible, Gabriela has coordinated the production of 50 portraits of these women by 50 contemporary women painters based in Costa Rica. 

With this play, we aim to generate reflection & change about the role of women in the History of Art and nowadays. Do we give them the space & voice they deserve? Do we, despite the idea of progress in feminism that we all have in mind, truly consider women's art as we consider men's art?
